Gluten Free Pizza Recipe

Gluten Free Pizza
If you are following a low carbohydrate or gluten free diet you may find yourself missing a good slice pizza. Good news is this pizza recipe is made with flax meal so it is both low carbohydrate and gluten free.
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp flax meal
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • 3 tbsp tomato sauce
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
  • pizza toppings of choice
Prep Time:  10 minutes
Cook Time:  15 minutes
Servings:   1 small pizza
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F.
  • Whisk the egg, water, and coconut oil in a bowl.
  • Mix in flax meal, salt and baking powder.
  • Spread the dough mixture onto a silicone baking sheet using the back of a metal spoon. Dip the spoon in warm water if you find it is sticking to the dough.
  • Top dough with tomato sauce and cheese.
  • Add your favourite pizza toppings.
  • Bake for 12 minutes.
  • Remove from baking sheet and place back in the oven a cooling rack for 3 minutes to get a crispier bottom [optional].
